Yankie has over 30 years of experience in the construction and real estate industry. Starting off as an electrical contractor at 18, Yankie has worked directly with architects, general contractors, engineers and city building departments. Throughout his early career, he saw firsthand how often clients were often being taken advantage of by their contractors without even realizing it.

In 2005, Yankie moved from New York to Miami, shifting from contractor to owner’s rep, creating a company whose vision was to protect its clients by acting as an agent of the owner. Owner’s Rep of Miami oversees projects with independent and unbiased advice, maximizing their client’s control over the project’s scope, cost, and schedule while ensuring that the project is constructed to the highest safety and quality standards.

The success of Owner’s Rep of Miami rests on Yankie’s experience, reliability and trustworthiness to create a perfect trifecta in an arena where an owner nearly always lacks transparency. Today, Yankie and his team manage $100m in construction and works with most of the top, high-end builders across South Florida.

Yankie prides himself on his company’s sponsorship of many local charitable events, leaving his company’s footprint on Miami not just in construction. Yankie lives in Bal Harbour, FL with his wife, 7 children, 3 grandchildren and his Mini Bernedoodle, Rocky.
